Spot-On Presentation Set No. 4 Large, Nearly mint, complete in-Original Box

  

Another rare item from my collection. Especially hard to find set in this excellent to near to mint condition and in a complete original box.

The set consists of four (4) British cars, two (2) British lorries, (all which are described in detail below) as well as various road signs and road sections. In rare salmon exterior with an ivory interior. The model is in near to mint-condition with no touch-up or replacement parts whatsoever. Original now slightly age hardened tires fitted to the original chromed hubs. Perfect windows and original ivory steering wheel. Both registration numbers (PML 109) are excellent. The only issues with the model are a tiny chips as seen in the photos. In all a superb nearest to mint example. A superb example with a light metallic green upper and light metallic silver lower.

Fully original with no touch-up or replacement parts whatsoever. Original now age hardened tires are fitted to the original chromed hubs. Excellent original windows & red steering wheel. Registration numbers (LTP 103) are both excellent replacement items. The issues with the model are a few tiny specks as seen in the photos.

In all another outstanding near-mint example. 106A/1 Austin, articulated flat lorry. An excellent example in robin's egg blue and a blue interior.

The model is fully original with no touch-up or replacement parts whatsoever. Age hardened tires (all 7) are fitted to the original cast aluminum hubs. Excellent original windows, ivory steering wheel, trailer coupling, trailer tailboard and baseplate. Original and in excellent condition are both the front and rear registration numbers, (TPO 106). In all an excellent example of this rare model. 109/3 ERF 68G Flat Lorry. A lovely example in yellow with a black roof and ivory interior.

The model is almost completely original. Original age hardened tires are fitted to their original cast aluminum hubs. Excellent windows and Ivory steering wheel.

Working and excellent original tailboard along with front and rear registration numbers (PLM 109) which are superb. The issues with the model are that the roof has been professionally repainted and that the spare tire and wheel are proper replacement items.

In all the model displays wonderfully. Another lovely example in bright red with an ivory interior. This model is fully original with no touch-up or replacement parts whatsoever.

Age hardened original tires are fitted to the original chromed hubs. Original ivory steering wheel and windscreen are perfect. The only issues are that the registration numbers (FTZ107) are replacements and the small chips as seen in the photos. In all an excellent example.

Excellent original windows and red (rare) steering wheel. The issues are the replacement registration numbers (BML 112) and a few stray chips as seen in the photos. In all a near-mint example. Also in this set are two (2) road directional signs, seven (7) other warning signs, four (4) Belisha beacons, four (4) 7" straight, dotted line road sections, four (4) 7" straight zebra road sections and four (4) 90 degree curved road sections.

All of the road sections and signs are in excellent to near-mint condition. The original box is complete with all of its original parts.

The four (4) car carrier boxes, the two (2) lorry carrier boxes, have been repaired as seen in the photos. The two road section carrier boxes and the holding straps for the signs are original without repair. The box top and bottom have had some repairs (done properly with paper) as seen in the photos. The Illustration on the box top is excellent as the photos show. In all an excellent complete box for this set. The only other note is that for the set to be 100% complete the Shell Forecourt pump set is required. I have been searching for one for some time to complete the set. However, this will be a quest for the new owner. In summary an outstanding addition to your Spot-On collection that you will rarely if ever see offered for sale. This set will please any Spot-On or British car collector.
