RARE Martespa, Toledo, Spain "Warriors of History" Knights Set - Complete & MINT. This is a complete collection of 12 figurines from the "Warriors in History" series produced by the highly respected sword maker, Marto of Toledo, Spain. I believe that the armour for the figures is made of hand painted metal fixed to plastic bodies and mounted on plastic plinths. All gold detailing is 24 carat. Each has a hand painted metal shield which mounts onto a pin on the front of the model and can be detached. They stand from 17 to 22 cm tall (approx 8 inches) excluding the plinth. Weights vary but the average weight is 335 gms and the whole set weighs 4.02 Kg. These were made around 20 to 25 years ago and have long since been discontinued so are very hard to get now. My husband collected these on holiday trips to Spain from 1998 to around 2002.

Listed as used as I do not have all the original boxes but in mint untouched condition. I have 4 boxes which are included in the sale. The display cabinet is not included.
