Diana Gabaldon 1-8 1st/1st Outlander Collection Series Complete Set Lot

Complete set of Books 1 8. These books are meant to be loved and cherished while becoming the showstopper to your library. Quite simply, they are an investment.

Original Kinuko Craft artwork Plaid and clock dustjacket. Red and black cover boards.

Light foxing on top outer edge. Normal wear overall very good/good.

Original Kinuko Craft artwork Chalice and plaid dustjacket. Original Kinuko Craft cover with plaid and rifle. Black and red cover boards. Normal wear overall very good. A Breath of Snow and Ashes.

Silver foil dustjacket with snowflake. Gray and black cover boards. An Echo in the Bone. Black dustjacket with caltrop (an ancient device used to stop cavalry but still used by law enforcement today). Former owner name inside front. Black mark on DJ but the DJ is black, too. Written in My Own Hearts Blood. Tan dustjacket with octothorpe on cover. Tan cover boards with small mark on lower edge and small gray mark on part of dustjacket. Finding a complete first edition/first printing set is increasingly difficult. All with protective Brodart mylar dustjacket covering. Any slight blemishes as noted absolutely do not deter from this set. Absolutely not book club editions (see note at end for more about BCEs). Absolutely not former library books. These books have been read and are not new.

Please examine pictures closely as they are a part of the sets description. Kinuko is sometimes spelt Kanuko, so I have used the spelling to correspond to the particular dustjacket. Buyers should beware of BCE hallmarks.

They will not have a price listed on the dustjacket and are generally smaller except for Dragonfly in Amber and The Fiery Cross. Voyager and Drums of Autumn BCEs have black cover boards instead of the red ones true first editions have. They will all have a book club inventory number on the back outside dust jacket.

Those BCE inventory numbers for Gabaldons Outlander series. Written in my Own Hearts Blood. While there is nothing wrong with BCEs, they should be properly identified for potential buyers.
